Uxbridge College – Hayes Campus – Quadrangle

Following a large project with the College at the beginning of 2010, and several smaller projects, AJW Ltd were very pleased to work with Uxbridge College again to transform a disused 600m2 quadrangle into an inspiring Performing Arts and Social Seating Area.

Working very closely with Mr Robert Drury – Projects Director for the College, we turned an imaginative idea into a plan and reality.

All materials were sourced within a very short lead time, from bespoke items to recycled materials from the College.

As an example, a courtyard that had over 140m2 of block paving lifted, moved and relayed in the quadrangle, we saved over £1500.00 alone.

We managed the project together to save the environment, ensure a cost effective solution and work within the budget for this scheme.

Well over 100 tonnes of material & waste were manually taken through a workshop and corridor of the College in the summer holidays to complete the project, so there was no disruption within term time.

Saltway Day Nursery – Banbury

AJW Specialist Landscaping & Maintenance Ltd was asked by Saltway Day Nursery to remove and replace a tired artificial grass area that had been in place for over 10 years. Ahead of schedule we removed the old grass, re-laid the underlay and replaced the artificial grass with our child friendly ‘Play’ artificial grass product.

Barnardos Children’s Centres in Amersham Buckinghamshire

In 3 different phases AJW Specialist Landscaping & Maintenance Ltd were tasked with supplying, laying and installing a child friendly wet pour area as well as sleeper bed planting area and a brand new shed base.
